Hero MotoCorp’s all-electric sub-brand Vida has today introduced the V2 electric scooter range in the domestic market. It has been made available in a total of three variants namely Lite, Plus and Pro. Marking a first for the brand, the Lite variant has been added to the electric scooter range, expanding its appeal to a broader audience.
The Vida V2 electric scooter series is priced at Rs. 96,000 for the Lite, Rs. 1,15,000 for the Plus, and Rs. 1,35,000 for the top-spec Pro variants (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Beyond pricing, the three variants are distinguished by differences in their claimed riding range and power outputs. Let us take a deep look at them below:
The entry-level V2 Lite is equipped with a single 2.2 kWh battery pack while the Plus and Pro trims feature larger 3.44 kWh and 3.94 kWh units respectively, both split into two removable batteries. In terms of performance, the V2 Lite offers a top speed of 69 kmph. The V2 Plus improves on this with a maximum claimed speed of 85 kmph while the V2 Pro delivers the highest top speed of 90 kmph amongst the three variants.

The base Vida V2 Lite comes with a claimed riding range of 64 km on a single charge while the V2 Plus has it at 100 kmph and the V2 Pro boasts a range of 114 km per charge. The Vida V2 series comes packed with modern features such as an LED headlamp, tail lamp and turn signals, a seven-inch TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity features and navigation.
Other highlights are cruise control, keyless entry function, follow-me-home lights and regen braking to improve the range capabilities further. All three Vida V2 variants feature mechanical elements such as telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock at the back for suspension duties while the braking hardware comprises a front disc brake and a drum setup at the rear while alloy wheels add to the sporty appeal.

The V2 Pro stands as the flagship model within Vida’s e-scooter series, offering more advanced features and specifications. On the other hand, the V2 Lite serves as the entry-level option, making the range more accessible to a wider band of customers.
