The automotive market in India is expanding at a rapid rate and in line with this, car manufacturers are actively working to introduce new cars. Multiple new models are lined up for a launch next year. In this article, we will look at the top 5 brand new cars coming next year.
1. Hyundai Creta EV
Hyundai is all set to launch the Creta EV in the Indian market early next year, most likely at the 2025 Auto Expo. Spied testing multiple times on Indian roads, the electric Creta will share the design with the latest facelift model, albeit with EV-specific touches like a blanked-off front grille, EV badging inside out and aero-efficient alloy wheels.
The powertrain will use a 45 kWh battery pack with a power output rated at 138 bhp and 255 Nm peak torque. This setup is a straight life-off from the base-spec version of the latest generation Kona EV sold in the international markets.

2. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara
The Suzuki e Vitara recently made its global debut and it will be launched in the Indian market next year i.e. March 2025. It will be the Maruti Suzuki’s first electric car in the country and the global model will be manufactured at Suzuki’s Gujarat-based facility. The EV will measure 4,275 mm long with a wheelbase of 2,700 mm.
Internally codenamed YY8, the e Vitara is based on an all-new born-electric skateboard platform, the Heartect-e (codename: 40PL). There will be two battery packs on offer, i.e. a 49kWh and a 61kWh unit with power output ranging up to 184 bhp and 300 Nm of peak torque for the AWD variant.
3. New-Gen Renault Duster
Scheduled for a launch in the second half of 2025, the fully camouflaged test mule of the new-gen Duster was recently spied testing in India for the first time. The new Duster’s design will be identical to the international spec model which has already been revealed. In terms of dimensions, the 3rd-generation model will measure 4.34 meters long with 209 mm ground clearance.
Based on the CMF-B platform, the upcoming Renault car will get a 130 bhp turbo petrol mild hybrid and a strong hybrid powertrain option is also likely for the India-spec model. The AWD system will also likely be available as an option with the new Duster.

4. Kia Syros
Kia has confirmed the Syros name for its upcoming SUV which will be positioned between the current Sonet and Seltos. Expected to go on sale early next year, the Korean carmaker recently shared the teaser images of the Syros, revealing its silhouette.
In terms of design, the Syros will sport an upright stance with a boxy design language along with vertically stacked LED DRLs upfront, a large window line and LED tail lamps wrapped around the rear windshield, functional roof rails and flush-fitting door handles. The upcoming Kia Syros will get both ICE and electric powertrains, paired to a front-wheel-drive setup.
5. Tata Harrier EV
The Tata Harrier EV has been in the development phase for a long time now and it has already been showcased as a concept on multiple occasions. The electric derivative of the Harrier is scheduled for a debut next year in India. The Harrier EV will be based on the heavily modified electric-specific version of the current OMEGA-Arc platform.
The SUV is expected to sport a battery pack of 60 kWh, delivering a claimed range of around 500 kilometres. In terms of design, it will be quite familiar to the current Harrier, however, will have some electric-specific elements inside out. It will also get a dual-motor AWD setup as an option.
