Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Tata are set to introduce new electric SUVs soon in India and here we have explained about them
The electric SUV market in India is heating up with three brand new models set to launch soon, all priced under Rs. 20 lakh from big players like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Tata. Here we have brought you a rundown:
1. Hyundai Creta EV:
The Hyundai Creta EV is preparing to be launched in January 2025, offering an expected range of over 450 km on a single charge. This five-seater electric SUV is built on a modified version of the K2 platform, shared with its internal combustion engine counterpart. While retaining much of the Creta’s features list, the EV will sport exterior updates that highlight its electrified identity.
2. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara:
Set to launch in early 2025, the Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will compete directly with the Hyundai Creta EV, recently launched Mahindra BE 6e and Tata Curvv. Recently unveiled in Milan, this electric SUV is the production iteration of the Suzuki eVX concept and it will make its domestic debut in January at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
