Samsung has started rolling out a stable One UI 6 Watch update for the Galaxy Watch 5 series. Recently, the company informed beta testers about the stable update and now, non-beta testers are also getting it.
One UI 6 Watch stable update is currently live for Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro users in Korea and will soon expand to more countries. The update is rolling out gradually so it may take some hours or days to reach all models.
Based on Wear OS 5, the One UI 6 Watch update brings some cool new features to help you stay on top of your health and fitness. There’s now an Energy Score that shows how well you’re doing based on sleep, activity, and heart rate, and tips to improve. Sleep tracking is more detailed, with info on your movement, heart rate, and even how you breathe while you sleep.
Moreover, you get a Race feature to compare your running or cycling to past workouts, and you can create your own workout routine. Also, there are some fresh watch faces to choose from.
To install the update, users need to connect their Galaxy Watch 5 to a smartphone via the Galaxy Wearable app. From there, navigate to Watch Settings, select Watch Software Update, and choose the Download and Install option.
