One UI 7 Beta has reportedly been delayed until December 2024, with an expected release in the middle of the month for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series. Ahead of the official launch, several new apps with One UI 7 support have already surfaced, including a newly leaked version of the Samsung Reminder app.
The updated Samsung Reminder app, version 12.6.00.31, has been leaked on APKMirror as part of the One UI 7. The app’s release notes confirm that this is not just a regular update, but a leaked version of the app. Let’s explore what’s new could come with One UI 7.
What’s new
One UI 7 Reminder app leak reveals a new icon, which is completely different from the current one. The current icon features a blue background with a white alarm bell symbol, suggesting the app’s focus on reminding users about tasks or events.
The new leaked icon adopts a blue circular background with a white checkmark in the center, indicating a focus on task completion. The icon features two shades of blue—light and dark. The circle is in the icon filled with a dark shade, while the outer part of the circle has a light shade.
It is not fully identical but somewhat similar to the Modes and Routines icon, which also has a checkmark in the middle.
One UI 7 is expected to bring new features and improvements to the Reminder app. The app will include a multiple-date selection option for setting recurring reminders (such as repeating every month or year).
Moreover, a new feature will allow users to delete completed reminders to keep the list clutter-free automatically. The Quick Add menu will also be enhanced with preset buttons for quickly adding time and location.
Furthermore, a duplicate feature will be added, which allows users to recreate completed or deleted reminders easily. Notably, it is a leaked version, so we can just expect these features coming with One UI 7.
