MG Hector gets two new 7-seater variants: the Select Pro 1.5L CVT petrol and Smart Pro 2.0L diesel 6MT in India
JSW MG Motor India has expanded its MG Hector lineup with two new 7-seater options: the Hector Plus 7-Seater Select Pro and Smart Pro. The Select Pro variant features a 1.5T petrol engine mated to a CVT transmission, while the Smart Pro variant is powered by a 2.0L diesel engine coupled with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The newly introduced Hector Plus 7-Seater Select Pro and Smart Pro variants are priced competitively, making advanced features more accessible than before. Both variants include a 14-inch HD portrait infotainment system, i-SMART technology with over 75 connected car features, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a wireless smartphone charger, among other modern amenities.
The Hector Plus 7-Seater Select Pro and Smart Pro variants enhance their appeal with 18-inch dual-tone machined alloy wheels, LED projector headlamps, floating LED turn indicators, and connected LED tail lamps. Inside, the cabin is refined with premium seat upholstery, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a wood finish, accompanied by a fully digital instrument cluster featuring a 17.78 cm embedded LCD screen. Convenience is further amplified with push-button engine start/stop functionality and a smart key for seamless access.

The Smart Pro variant introduces a segment-first digital Bluetooth key with key-sharing functionality, adding a new layer of convenience and security. The interior comes with a two-tone Argil Brown and Black theme with leatherette seat upholstery and a powered driver seat. Safety is prioritised with features like cruise control, an electronic parking brake (EPB), four-wheel disc brakes, electronic stability control (ESP), traction control (TC), hill assist control (HAC), ABS with EBD, brake assist (BA), follow-me-home headlamps, and cornering front fog lamps.

The new variants are backed by the MG Shield programme, providing customers with a range of after-sales service options. The standard package includes the 3+3+3 offer: a three-year warranty with unlimited kilometres, three years of roadside assistance, and three labour-free periodic services. The Select Pro 1.5L CVT petrol 7-seater is available at Rs. 19,71,800 while the Smart Pro 2.0L diesel 6MT 7-seater is listed at Rs. 20,64,800 (ex-showroom).
