New gen Honda Amaze introduces a range of updates to its exterior and interior, enhancing its overall appeal but no major mechanical changes made
Honda Cars India has officially launched the third-generation Amaze in the domestic market, with bookings now open. The sedan has started reaching dealership yards nationwide, gearing up for customer deliveries. It continues to take on strong contenders like the newly introduced Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Tata Tigor and Hyundai Aura.
The 2025 Honda Amaze is offered in three trims: V, VX, and ZX, bringing substantial upgrades to both its exterior and interior. Since its debut in India over a decade ago, the Amaze has remained a clear favourite in the sedan segment, known for its reliability and appeal. The new generation aims to elevate its reputation further with new features and technologies along with noticeable cosmetic improvements.
The new Amaze boasts a host of key features including a larger touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, complemented by a seven-inch semi-digital instrument cluster. Additional highlights include automatic climate control, six airbags, front twin cup holders, and a reversing camera. The dashboard has received a fresh look with updated inserts, adding a touch of modernity to the interior.

As for the mechanicals, the new Honda Amaze retains the tried-and-tested 1.2L four-cylinder VTEC naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 90 PS of maximum power and 110 Nm as before. The powertrain remains paired with a five-speed manual transmission or an optional CVT.
The sedan’s refreshed exterior design, inspired by Honda’s Elevate and City, lends it a more stylish appeal with a more upright front end. The facade gains sharp LED headlamps seamlessly paired with sleek LED DRLs for a striking appearance. Enhancing its modern look, the grille now features chrome-accented openings, harmonizing with the updated hood.

The revamped front bumper, paired with redesigned fog lamp housings, significantly elevates the 2025 Honda Amaze’s road presence. Inside, Honda has introduced updates to the centre console as well. While the base variant is priced at Rs. 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the top-spec trim costs Rs. 10.89 lakh (ex-showroom).
