It’s the end of November 2024, and we have had just one mention of Samsung’s One UI 7 until now, but we have recently come across additional information.
Going into detail, Samsung’s next big software update, the One UI 7.0 page was spotted on the company’s Spanish website, which was taken down shortly after. This sneak peek has given us more information about the One UI 7 before the Galaxy S25 hits the market in January 2025.
The brief appearance of the One UI 7 page on Samsung’s Spanish site confirmed the speculation. One UI 7 is indeed coming, promising a “sophisticated new look” with more intuitive icons and a smart notification center.
The page also showed that the lock screen was highlighted to feature quick views of ongoing tasks, mirroring the functionality of iOS’s Live Activities. The Galaxy AI features like Circle to Search, Sketch to Image, Live Translate, and AI Zoom were mentioned on the page.
However, despite this exciting reveal, there’s still a doubt on the One UI 7.0 beta program. Originally, the information suggested we’d see it by late 2024, most likely in December, but as of now, no official word has come from Samsung.
This delay might be strategic, ensuring that when the beta does roll out, it’s as close to perfect as possible, avoiding the serious bugs that usually come with beta software.
About the Galaxy S25, according to leaks and rumors, the Galaxy S25 lineup is set to impress the Samsung fans. We’re looking at a 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 1440p resolution, boasting a peak brightness of 3,000 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate for the smooth viewing experience.
