Kia Syros is scheduled to make its Indian debut on December 19, bringing a host of premium features and it will be powered by two engine options
Set to debut on December 19, 2024, the Kia Syros is designed to slot between the Sonet and Seltos in Kia’s domestic lineup, aiming for a significant share in the highly competitive five-seater compact SUV market. With Kia’s confirmed participation in the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in Delhi, the Syros’ pricing details are anticipated to be unveiled at the event, adding to the buzz surrounding its launch.
The Kia Syros is set to feature a larger footprint compared to the Sonet with enhanced interior space and practicality and we expect the starting price to be just under Rs. 10 lakh (ex-showroom). Teasers highlight its boxy design including an upright front profile with vertically stacked LED projector headlamps complemented by sleek vertical LED DRLs.
It will offer a spacious and airy cabin, thanks to its upright pillars and flat roofline. The rear will gain L-shaped LED tail lamps that blend with the pillars, accentuating its boxy design. Under the hood, the Syros is likely to be powered by two engine options: a 1.0L turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.5L four-cylinder diesel engine.
